This decision has been taken under the changes made in the RTE Act. Teachers are tasked with ensuring that no child is left without a book.

Teachers must attend school to guide parents and students on school hygiene, records, classification, planning for new studies, online learning methods. The school library should be kept open.

Students from primary-secondary-higher secondary schools across the state are being provided home-based online education as per government guidelines.

In which after the earlier protest against the unit test of Std. 9 to 12, the Board of Education has declared that it is compulsory for all government, grant aided and private schools across the state to take the unit test of Std. 9 to 12 students.

EKAM KASOTI SYLLABUS UNIT NAME

It is to be mentioned here that this first unit test will be taken on 29th and 30th and the soft copy of the question paper will be delivered to the district education officer by the board two to three days before the test.

Students will have to give it at home. After the test, the transcripts will have to be delivered to the schools by the parents, board sources said.

EKAM KASOTI PARIPATRA

Primary and middle across the state on the 29th and 30th. As well as periodic assessment and unit test of upper secondary school students is to be taken. However, the self-governing school board has demanded the cancellation of the examination.

Education in the state is also running online, schools have been closed but recently the government has announced to conduct examinations in schools. However, the self-governing school board says that the current situation is not conducive to holding unit tests and periodic examinations.

Will be sent two to three days before the exam. The rules and course of operation of which have been determined. Unit Test of Std. 09 to 12 is compulsory for all government / grant-in-aid and self-reliant schools accredited by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board.

The student has to stay at home and give as per convenience. The unit test covers two subjects. The question paper of each subject will be of 25 marks and its duration will be a maximum of one hour.

The unit test will be organized on the basis of the textbook published by Gujarat State School Textbook Board. The unit test question paper of the district education officer will be delivered in soft copy to the official mail address two to three days in advance. Which should be delivered confidentially by the District Education Officer through to the principal of that school. Students will have to deliver the question paper in soft / hard copy at home by the school on the day of unit test.

Students will have to create a separate notebook for the unit test. In which this unit will have to write the answers of the test. It is expected that the head of the test parent and the student will write from home under the supervision of the parent. The purpose of the test is to know the progress of the students

After the school receives the question paper, it has to print it out and send it to the home of each student in hard copy or online through the teachers on the day of the examination and each student has to make a separate test notebook. In which this unit will have to write the answers of the test. It is expected that the student will write from home under the supervision of the parent for the convenience of the test parent and the student. The purpose of the test is to know the progress of the student.

The unit test will cover two subjects. The question paper of each subject will be of 5 marks. And its duration will be maximum one hour. The unit test will be given by the students from 3rd to 20th at their home as per convenience.

The test notebook has to be delivered to the school by July 31

It is desirable that the unit test notebook written by the students be delivered to the school through the parents by 31st. The evaluation of this notebook should be done by the subject teacher

Currently in the state, due to corona, schools have been given leave till next 30th. In order not to spoil the study of the students during this holiday, the students will be given a PAT i.e. unit test notebook by the class teacher going home every day. Students will be instructed to write one unit test per day in this book.

Special arrangements have been made so that all the students can stay at home and repeat the next annual examination and practice writing. Every day the class teacher of each school has to go to the house of all the students of his school and distribute the PAT (Periodical Assessment Test-Unit Test Notebook).
