Scheme for Individual Housing Assistance to Members of Scheduled Castes (Dr. Ambedkar Awas Yojana) (Dr. Ambedkar Awas Yojana 2022) The scheme aims to construct houses on the homeless, open plots, uninhabitable raw soil and prime of the Scheduled Castes. The benefit of this scheme will be given only to the sanitation workers and their dependents. For that, the competent authority's instance has to be submitted along with the application.
The age of the applicant should be at least 21 years.
With the help received under Dr. Ambedkar Safai Kamdar Awas Yojana, the complete construction of the house will not be completed, so the remaining amount will have to be added by the beneficiary to complete the construction of the house.
Income limit is not considered under this scheme
Rda. Beneficiary on the house built under Ambedkar Safai Kamdar Awas Yojana ” State Govt. Rda. Ambedkar Safai Kamdar Awas Yojana” has to be made and put up a plaque.
If there is any issue regarding the reasons for the definition of dependent presented by the applicant, the final decision of approval/disapproval will be taken at the corporation level.
The applicant has to write the name in the application as per the certificates, as well as the specimen signature which is signed in the application will be considered authentic.
After applying online, two copies of the application should be submitted by the applicant to the district office itself.
Rda. Ambedkar Housing Scheme, Rda. The application will be rejected if the beneficiary or the spouse of the beneficiary has availed housing assistance under Ambedkar Safai Kamdar Awas Yojana or any other housing assistance schemes of the Government.
After receiving the second installment of housing assistance, the beneficiary will have to complete the housing work within one year.
Apart from housing assistance, Rs.16,920 for unskilled employment for 90 days for housing construction under Mahatma Gandhi NREGA (MGNREGA) scheme in rural areas can be obtained from NREGA branch of Taluka Panchayat as per scheme rules.
Assistance of ₹.12,000/- for toilets under Swachh Bharat Mission can be availed from Taluka Panchayat in rural areas and Municipality/Mahanagarpalika in urban areas.
