The good news: The same person can now get the benefit of two pensions, a widowed daughter or even a divorcing daughter can get the benefit

Now one person from the family can avail of two pensions from the Central Government.  If two people from a family are central employees, this rule is possible.  If both the mother and father of a child are government employees then the benefit of two pensions can be availed.  Full details about it are given by the Pension and Pensioners Welfare Department.

However the rules of the two pension rules have certain conditions.  After completion of which two pensions can be availed.

The Department of Pensions says that if both husband and wife are government employees and one of them dies during the job or after retirement, the benefit of family pension will go to one of the two who is alive.  If the husband dies, the wife and if the wife dies, the husband will get the benefit of family pension.  If both die, the surviving child will be able to benefit.  Elderly pensioners are being sensitized through this series.

One question is whether a widowed or divorced daughter also gets the benefit of family pension.  When her husband dies and the divorce takes place after the death of her parents, the Pension Department replied that the benefit of family pension will be given to a widowed or divorced daughter only when the divorce case of a government employee's daughter is pending in a competent court.  This case should continue in the life of the employee or pensioner.  But even if the divorce is granted after their death, this rule applies.  In such a case the family pension will be linked to the day of the divorce.

PM KISAN: Government cracks down on wrong installment takers, states start recovery process

The 9th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sanman Nidhi Yojana has been transferred by the government to the farmers' account (DBT).  However, Rs 2,000 has not yet reached the accounts of many farmers.  Apart from this many unqualified farmers have taken advantage of the scheme.  The government has started cracking down on these unsuitable farmers.  If you have also taken PM Kisan's money wrongly, you have to return it.  Many state governments have started recovery by giving recovery notices to those who misused the scheme.

The government lost Rs 2,900 crore

 Lime worth Rs 2,900 crore by unscrupulous farmers are the biggest fake base beneficiaries.

Their number is 3.86 lakh.  After this, more than 2.34 lakh farmers have been declared unfit for PM Kisan Yojana as they are taxpayers.  In which installment amount is being sent to the accounts of more than 32 thousand dead farmers.  The government has identified more than 42 lakh ineligible farmers across the country.  So far, Rs 2,900 crore has been sent to his account in installments.  Let me tell you that under the scheme, the central government puts Rs 6,000 in farmers' accounts every year in three equal installments of Rs 2,000.

 Which amount the farmers have to deposit

 In many states, spouses, deceased farmers, wrong account transfer of funds, wrong figures, taxpayers, pensioners have been found to have misused the Prime Minister's Kisan Yojana.  The government is recovering the amount issued from such unsuitable farmers.  Ineligible farmers will have to deposit cash in the office of the Deputy Director of Agriculture.  Upon deposit, they will be given a receipt.  Later, the department will deposit the amount in the government account and remove the data of the unfit farmer from the online portal.

 From which farmers the money will be withdrawn

 To avail the benefit of PM Kisan Sanman Nidhi Yojana, the farmer should have agricultural land in his name.  If the farmer cultivates, but the farm is not in his name, he will not become a beneficiary.  He cannot take advantage of the scheme even if the farm is in the name of his father or grandfather.

 If a person owns agricultural land, but is a government employee or has retired, is sitting or is a former MP, MLA, Minister, he does not get the benefit of the scheme.

 Professionals, registered doctors, engineers, lawyers, chartered accountants or even their family members do not benefit from the scheme.

 The benefit of this scheme is also not available to pensioners above Rs 10,000.  At the same time, households paying income tax will also not get the benefit of the scheme.

 Many people from the same family do not get the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana.  If you have taken advantage of the scheme in the name of your spouse, parents or siblings, there will be a recovery.

In fact, the Ministry of Energy has advised all the Union Ministries of the government to instruct the institutions under their administrative control to install prepaid smart meters.  After the installation of prepaid smart meters, it is hoped that the economic condition of power distribution companies will improve, which is still carrying the burden of outstanding electricity bills.

 As much money as electricity

 The prepaid meter works just like the prepaid mobile, i.e. you will get as much electricity as money.

However, prepaid meters are used in many parts of the country.  Which needs to be recharged.  After installing prepaid meters in central government offices, it will be implemented across the country.  Prepaid smart meters will be installed in the homes of all electricity consumers.

 Government departments will have pre-paid electricity meters

 The advisory has been issued by the Finance Ministry, asking all Union Ministries and Central Departments to pay for pre-paid electricity meters without insisting on guarantees.  At the same time, everyone has been asked to ensure accounting management.  According to the power ministry, pre-paid smart meters in all government departments will only prove important in bringing electricity distribution companies on the path to financial stability or in ensuring efforts to boost energy efficiency.

 Notably, under this scheme, prepaid smart meters will be managed for all electricity consumers except the agricultural consumer in phases.  Priority will be given to installing prepaid smart meters in urban and rural local and government boards and corporations, including all departments of the Central and State Governments.

 The outstanding amount will help in payment

 The scheme will also help in payment of outstanding electricity bills by the concerned departments.  The Government of India is committed to providing uninterrupted, reliable and quality power supply to all consumers, which requires an efficient and economically sustainable power sector.  DISCOMs are often seen as the most important but weak link in the power sector.  Because at the bottom of the value chain, the impact of their deteriorating economic situation comes upwards.

 The current state of power distribution companies

 Apart from operational problems, heavy distribution of electricity bills, late payments and low payments to the departments of the Central and State Governments has put the distribution companies in a precarious position.  According to the information received by the states, their government departments owe a total of Rs 48,664 crore at the end of 2020-21.

 There is good news for students studying engineering or going for admission.  The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has allowed students to change branches in the midst of BTech studies.  Notice of colleges has been issued.  At the same time, the council has enacted some other rules of lateral entry.  The AICTE said in announcing the organ that students were demanding it and the council had received several applications.

The committee, while approving it, said that students who want to change their engineering branch between BTech or BTech BE Course, the technical institute can facilitate to do so.

 Private banks are rapidly focusing on digital transactions but government banks are not far behind.  In the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday, Minister of State Bhagwat Karad said in response to a question that about 72 per cent of digital transactions have taken place in public sector banks so far.  In 2019-20, about 34 million public bank customers were active on the digital channel, which has doubled to 76 million by 2020-21.

The education department has made an important announcement regarding the diagnostic test of standard 11 students.  The education department has written a circular to all the district education officers.  Mass promotion has been given in standard 10 due to which diagnostic test has been organized to know the learning loss.  The board will send the question paper to the DEO on August 13.  On August 14, the SVC convener will hand over the question paper to the principal of the secondary and higher secondary school.

Question papers will be placed on  on August 17.  From 17th to 18th August students will give a test in which they will write a daily paper.

The school will have to prepare the result of the diagnostic test by August 31.

Marcus will have to be uploaded at the Command and Control Center in Gandhinagar in the first week of September.  Diagnostic test questions will be based on standard 10 study order.  It may be mentioned that the diagnostic test of standard 9, 10 and 12 was conducted earlier.

Order to release water with immediate effect

 It may be mentioned that Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani has directed the Water Resources Department to reserve the amount of drinking water in the reservoirs of the state till September 30 and release the remaining amount with immediate effect for irrigation to save the standing crops of the sons of the earth.

As a result of this farmer friendly approach of CM Rupani, after reserving the quantity of drinking water in the reservoirs of the state till September 30, the farmers will be given water for irrigation and the benefit will be given to five lakh hectares of land area of ​​the state.

All farmers in the state will benefit

 Accordingly, out of 141 dams in Saurashtra area, 60 thousand hectares of land in Saurashtra area will be irrigated from 88 reservoirs and 15 thousand hectares will be irrigated from Dharoi dam in North Gujarat.  Not only that, 6,000 cusecs of water will be provided to Mahi Command for irrigation from Kadana reservoir in Central Gujarat.  Apart from this, water will be provided for irrigation to 2 lakh 10 thousand hectares from 11 reservoirs including Panam.

One more farmer oriented decision of CM Rupani

 It may be mentioned that CM Rupani has earlier taken an important decision in July to provide 10 hours of electricity to farmers instead of 8 hours.  Now, in the prevailing situation of rains, he has decided to reserve the quantity of drinking water in the reservoirs of the state till September 30 and give the remaining amount of water to the farmers for irrigation.
