UGC NET 2020 Exam Date Postponed. NTA UGC NET Admit Card 2020





The UGC NET exam was going to start from September 16, which has now been postponed by the NTA. Admit cards have not yet been issued by NTA, due to which it was believed that the exam would be postponed. The UGC NET admit card can now be issued till next week. The June edition of UGC NET 2020 could not be held in time due to the COVID-19 pandemic and was done in September. The full schedule of the exam will now be released soon.





The first paper of this exam will be of Teaching and Research Aptitude which will have 50 objective questions. At the same time, the second paper will be based on the subject. That is, in this, students choose one of the subjects out of 84 subjects and candidates can take the same subject. The syllabus of UGC NET has already been released by the National Testing Agency. The exam will be conducted through online mode. Students have to select the correct answers in multiple choice questions. Keep in mind that the negative marking of the exam will continue.





The date of University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) has been changed once again.  The examination, which was to be held in June 2020 due to the changed circumstances of the Corona epidemic, was to be held from September 16, 2020.  But once again the date has been changed.  The National Testing Agency (NTA) has also issued a notice in this regard.







 In this notice, NTA has said that the Indian Council for Agriculture Research's AIEEA (ICAR AIEEA) UG & PG and AICE JRF and SRF examinations are to be held on 16, 17, 22 and 23 September 2020.

 There are many candidates of UGC NET who also have to appear in these exams.  In such a situation, they do not have to leave any exam, so it has been decided to change the date of UGC NET 2020.



 When will the admit card come
 The National Testing Agency has informed that the date for downloading the UGC NET admit card will be given soon.  On this admit card, the roll number of candidates, examination center, date of examination, shift (time of examination), all the information will be mentioned.


 The National Examination Agency (NTA) has revised the exam date of the June edition of the National Eligibility Test (NET) of the University Grants Commission (UGC).  According to the public notice issued by NTA on Monday, September 14, the UGC NET June 2020 examination will now be conducted from September 24.  Earlier, NTA had announced to conduct the UGC NET June exam from 16 September to 18 September and then from 21 September to 25 September 2020.  Candidates who have applied for the UGC NET June 2020 exam can see the notice related to the new exam date released on ugcnet.nta.ac.in, the portal for the examination, along with the direct link is given below.


 Date changed due to other examinations

 As per the notice issued by the NTA, the revision of UGC NET June 2020 exam date has been done due to clash from the date of other examinations conducted by the agency.  These exams include ICAR AIEA-UG / PG and AICE-JRF / SRF (PhD) 2020-21.  These examinations are to be conducted on 16, 17, 22 and 23 September 2020.  The agency informed that many candidates have registered for both the exams and due to their clash in the exam dates, they will be able to take the same exam.

 The NTA has informed the UGC NET June 2020 examination date amended as well as in its notice that the UGC NET Admit Card will be issued soon.  The admit cards will be able to be downloaded from the examination portal itself and through this the candidates will be able to get their roll number, examination center, date, shift and exam time.
