Apart from this, the Indian calendar will now be recognized instead of the English calendar.
For this, 300 scholars from all over the country will brainstorm in Ujjain for two days. At the same time, differences over fasts, festivals and dates in different regions will now come to an end. In addition, due to the different dates of the festivals, the dates of government holidays are also different in different states. Due to which people have to face many problems.
Initiative on the 75th anniversary of independence
The central government has taken this initiative to recognize the Indian calendar in the context of the 75th anniversary of the country's independence. Under this, a National Seminar and Almanac Exhibition has been organized by scholars from all over the country on 22-23 April at Vikram University on the Indian National Calendar of India. According to media reports, the Union Ministry of Culture, Central Department of Science and Technology, Science Dissemination, Indian Institute of Star Physics, Astronomy Center, Vigyan Bharti, Dhara, MP Science-Technology Council, Vikram University, etc. are part of the university.
Earlier in 1952, a Calendar Reform Committee was formed for a similar calendar in the country. But later the matter did not go ahead. Recently, the central government has re-launched its initiative.
